Depending on your interaction with our website and event, we may collect the following categories of personal data:
Event registration & ticket purchase

3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on one or more of the following legal bases under Article 6(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”):

5. Recipients of Your Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following categories of recipients, and only to the extent necessary:

Wix.com Ltd. (Israel) — website hosting, event registration and ticketing platform. Israel is recognised by a European Commission adequacy decision; where applicable, standard contractual clauses also apply.

Stripe / Wix Payments — payment processing. Full card details are handled by the payment provider; we do not store complete card numbers.

x-bionic® sphere (Slovakia) — the venue and accommodation provider, for Retreat bookings and rooming lists.

Medical / diagnostic partners — where you register for diagnostics, acting as our processors for the relevant health data.

Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., USA) — newsletter delivery, only if you subscribe. Transferred under Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Google LLC (USA) — Google Analytics for anonymised analytics, only if you consent. EU–US Data Privacy Framework certified.

Meta Platforms Inc. (USA) — Meta Pixel for advertising measurement, only if you consent. EU–US Data Privacy Framework certified.

5A. Health Data (Special Category)
If you register for Retreat activities or diagnostic services (such as CPET or biomarker testing), we may process data concerning your health, which is a special category of personal data under Article 9 GDPR.

This data is processed only on the basis of your separate, explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).

It is collected through a dedicated form, kept separately from other registration data, and accessible only to authorised personnel and the relevant medical/diagnostic partner acting as our processor.

You may withdraw your consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

Health data is retained only for as long as necessary for the activity and is deleted or anonymised shortly after the event, unless a longer period is required by law.
6. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are protected by a European Commission adequacy decision (where one applies), by Standard Contractual Clauses, and, where applicable, by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
7. Data Retention

Ticket orders and attendee data: for the duration necessary to deliver the event and thereafter as required for accounting and tax purposes.

Health data (Retreat/diagnostics): deleted or anonymised shortly after the event, unless a longer period is required by law.

Membership accounts: for the duration of the membership (up to one year after the event, or longer if a membership is renewed).

Partnership inquiries: 3 years after last contact, unless a contractual relationship is established.

Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.

Cookie consent records: 12 months.

Accounting records: as required by Slovak law (typically 10 years).

10. Automated Decision-Making
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. This includes encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access controls and regular security reviews.
12. Children’s Privacy
Our website and event are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 16 years of age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via our website. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the most recent version.
